In their May 24, 2022 meeting, Warren County Board of Commissioners heard from the Human Services Director about the difference a child care scholarship can make for a family trying to get their feet planted in the workforce.
Supporting 300 people over 2 years with childcare will help those families as well as fill vacant jobs.
The Workforce Stabilization Scholarship Program, funded by American Rescue Plan (ARP) dollars, was approved to move forward with 300 childcare scholarships.
