Dermott, Arkansas, population 2,021, will see critical investments to its health clinic thanks to the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and its $85,000 for a backup generator and a new floor.
The equipment will enable temperature stabilization of vaccines like the COVID-19 vaccines, as well as redundancy for power outages.
This announcement, coming today, is one of 208 grants announced as part of the federal American Rescue Plan Act Emergency Rural Health Care Grants.
