The Biden-Harris administration has announced six virtual tour stops on their Rural Playbook Tour to champion the new Rural Playbook. The White House website says this tool is “intended to help rural communities understand the available funding for infrastructure provided by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and other sources – offering information on the “what, where, and how” to apply for federal infrastructure dollars.”

Launched in mid-April, Biden and members of his administration including US Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, US Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, and US Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg have been making in-person and virtual tour stops across the country to highlight the infrastructure investments made through the Infrastructure, Investments, and Jobs Act (IIJA) and how rural communities, in particular, can benefit.

This week’s slate of tour stops will be virtual. The invitation and links to RSVP are included here.

You are invited to join the White House  for a briefing on the impacts of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law on rural communities across the state. We also want to hear from rural community leaders like you on how we can best partner as we implement these important infrastructure investments and build a better America. Please feel free to share these events with your networks in each state. Here are the details for briefings scheduled for this week, with more invitations to come next week:
