President Joe Biden will continue the Rural Playbook Tour with a second of 25 stops across the country when he visits Greensboro, North Carolina on Thursday to talk about inflation and American jobs.

This visit follows Tuesday’s tour kick-off visit to Menlo, Iowa where President Biden shared the newly released “Rural Playbook,” found at build.gov/rural. It builds on the release of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Guidebook and provides rural communities with information on the “what, when, where, and how to apply” for funding under the law – so no community needs to hire a lobbyist to access their government. The Playbook also identifies over 100 programs funded under the law with federal cost share flexibilities and matching requirement waivers.

Biden also talked about his priorities for rural America, saying no one in rural America should have to leave home to find a job.

With the American Rescue Plan (ARPA) delivering dollars directly to the local level in rural communities and the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act (IIJA) following behind with critical investments, Biden is showing up with receipts for how the Biden-Harris administration is delivering for rural communities.
