Three rural healthcare facilities in rural Kansas will get improvements with a new, $1.25 million investment from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
The Republic County Hospital, Mercy Hospital in Moundridge, and Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems will each receive a portion of the money.
From replacing lost revenue during COVID-19 closures so the facilities can keep their doors open, to new flooring and HVAC systems, to adding telehealth infrastructure, these rural facilities’ investments will help ensure rural residents have access to healthcare.
