In the latest announcement of funding from the Infrastructure, Investments, and Jobs Act (IIJA), Kentucky will receive over $1 billion to repair roads and bridges and reduce carbon emissions in fiscal year 2023.
“This funding will repair our roadways, improve commute times, reduce pollution, and create good jobs right here in our Commonwealth,” said John Yarmuth, Louisville Representative who championed the law.
The IIJA is one of several big investments from the federal government to have passed during the Biden-Harris administration.
