Warren County, Ohio, Uses ARPA Funds to Support Nonprofits

The Warren County Board of Commissioners approved supports for four area nonprofits in their May 24th meeting.

The four local organizations each had requested support for revenue loss during the pandemic. County Commissioners approved revenue replace from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding allocated to the county.

  • Camp Joy – $200,000
  • Warren County Agriculture Society – $250,000
  • Cincinnati Scenic Railroad (LM Scenic Railroad) – $300,000
  • Warren County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau – $2,000,000

Warren County has been allocated about $66 million including the funding allocated directly to municipalities. The Board of Commissioners in Warren County is actively discussing ARPA projects and administering a small business grant program with the funding.
